3. Quality of Free avatars and themes

4. Beta opportunities (happy or unhappy with invitations)

5. Quality of Full Game trials

6. Length of Full game trials (are you happy with 60 mins)

7. Are you happy with the Exclusive offers? (Uncharted 3 avatar, etc...)

8. Overall satisfaction with Plus?

Questions you can answer

1. What do you like most about Playstation Plus?

2. What do you like least about Playstation Plus?

3. What changes would you make personally? ( remember this is a business, think of it as your running the show )

1.  8 from me so far.  Two great games (Shatter and Sam and Max) but two duds (Zen Pinball and BZB).

2.  9 Lots of PS1 classics that I was interested in are half off, particularly the Tomb Raider games

3.  8 Lots of themes, but most of them aren't great

4.  5 I haven't gotten into betas that aren't available to everyone, but AC Brotherhood and DCUO were great.

5.  6 Decent selection so far, but I don't really care about them.

6.  8

7.  9 I like getting offers free AND exclusive (Sackboy game)

8.  10 Misleading scores above, but I really love Plus for its value alone.  I'm swimming in a pool of PSN games.

Re: Rate Playstation Plus (members only please)

OK - I'll play and answer a few...

Free Games - I have been happy with the free games.  Zen Pinball has been the only one that I owned, and while I doubt I would have purchased any of the free offerings, I think I have received my money's worth.

Discounts - I love the discounts!  While they are not significant, they do add up.  I love the day one (or near day one discounts) - Dead Nation and Crazy Taxi as recent examples.

Betas - I think the betas are nice, interesting distractions.  So far I have participated in three.  I know a lot of gamers signed up for Plus for the beta access.  For me any beta invites are really just an added bonus.

Odds and Ends - I wish we could pick monthly from a pool of avatars and/or dynamic themes.  I want to continue to see more day one discounts, and DLC discounts to go with any free games (or discounted games).  A one hour game trial is much too short, but I understand Sony probably has to balance between giving too much time and giving a reasonable amount of time to make a decision on a game.

1. I think the free games are pretty good. Some I already owned but the ones I didn't, I really enjoyed.

2. Haven't found anything discounted I really wanted.

3. The free avatars and themes are nice. But a few more dynamic themes would be nicer.

4. Very happy with the betas.

5. Like that there's a monthly trial. But could be better.

6. For some games 60 minutes is enough, for others you need longer than that just to get a grasp of the game.

7. Only noticed a few but none really interested me.

8. I'm very happy with the program. I already received my moneys worth from the betas alone. Can't wait to see what comes next year.

1. The beta options

2. More variety in content. Most of the stuff I already own or not interested in.

3. Send out surveys every 2-3 months to get feedback on what we want to see in future updates. Then use this to construct the next updates. Also give us an option if we already own the game/avatar/theme to get something else.

Great Post so far.... Seriously thanks TomHoang , halowars7 , Chillbilly2 , footballrule , jcalvert , JRico_32 , Sum-Mischief , DistantWords , LpSquall , ArmaK28 , dayday72

Now for an update on what I think of Playstation Plus...

Last year for Playstation Plus was great. This year has been somewhat disappointing with a rehash of items on the menu. It feels that Sony has lost direction with Plus. No, I'm not hating on Plus I'm merely explaining that as a customer it feels as though Playstation is losing its footing on Plus. They have added some beneficial tools on plus such as a new menu system and the games saves on a virtual network (cloud). As for the content....

The betas have been great. However, there was an update where Playstation had put content out that was already out a month prior. This leads me to believe that Playstation is finding it hard to get new content to its members (besides beta's and themes). The mini's are great but the licensing couldn't cost Playstation that much. The only quality game that was given out was a game called Stacking. If they hand out older PSN games for free that would go a long way than to rehash content month after month. We understand this is a business. We don't expect to see free quality games every week. However, we don't want to see the same stuff especially if we have a 3 month subscription. People will not resubscribe to Plus if that happens.

Playstation Rewards (Plus subscribers invitation only) is sadly ending on March 31st. I understand why Playstation is ending this program but I do want to say that it did have potential to being a great thing. I think the major problem was that you had to access the Rewards program online instead of your console. The format was great and the quest was easy to understand. The rewards were not awesome but they showed its members that Playstation does appreciate it's members.

To show its appreciation Sony Playstation is sending out exclusive t-shirts to all its participants to any Rewards member that has a Select, Pro, or Legendary status. That show's me that Playstation is truely cares about it's customers. Let's see if Microsoft or Nintendo ever does anything like that.

3. What changes would you make personally? ( remember this is a business, think of it as your running the show )

1. Splitting this one in two:

Free Full Games: 10 --- Considering I already owned all but ONE of them.  I bought them because they were good choices.

Free Minis/PS1: 4 --- I played Fieldrunners becuase I had been lusting for a new tower defense game, but was never going to actually buy Fieldrunners.  Good choice too (not buying it, that is).  I haven't played any of the other free games yet.  I might get around to it eventually and then realize I made a good choice to not buy these too before.  To be honest though, the PS1 titles brought the average score up, though I still haven't played them.

2. 10 --- Ding, ding, ding!  We have a winner!  This is where Plus shines in my mind.  Since Plus came out my downloadable games collection has doubled in size.  That's because all but three of my games did I buy on discount, and there have been plenty of discount's offered that brought the games I wanted into the price range I wanted them at.  I have easily saved well over $50 from these discounts and not regretted a purchase.  I do wish that the DLC to those games would go on sale more often (you know, more often than never), but that little gripe is with the PSN harldy ever putting DLC on sale anyway, so I choose not to take away any points for that.

3. 4 --- Meh. I'll stick with my "Select" Avatar from the Rewards, and if they take that away (they said they might in the beginning) then I'll go back to the "U3" Avatar.  The themes upped the score.  Some of them are really nice, but I just wish I could rotate through multiple themes on the PS3 automatically.

4. 8 --- I got into the Rewards Beta.  That was the only one I really wanted.  I guess I'm biased though, since not every member of Plus could get in.  If I didn't get in I probably would've rated this a 6 or a 7, since I'm not thrilled with any other opportunity so far.  Hell, I haven't even downloaded the Socom Beta currently available.  But then I don't even count that as a beta since the release date is so soon, so there really is nothing we can do to improve the final product aside from test the stability of the servers.

5. 5 --- Sorry, but I don't have the hard drive space to even download a single one of them.  I rated this a 5 becuase I agree with the general sentiment that they should acutally be a 24 hour trial.  At the very least they should up it to two hours, since one hour can sometimes be just the opening cinematics (I'm looking at you Xenosaga! --- Yes I know that's only on PS2, but my point still stands.).

6. 1 --- Read the comment for question 5 above.

7. 4 --- Nothing "wows" me.  Just the "U3" Avatar, but wasn't that not an exclusive?  I know the email was only sent to Plus members but it was a single (un?)limited reusable code that I thought even non members could redeem.  I could've sworn I even saw it posted on CAG.

8. 8 --- I took the IGN route and did not average the above scores since you left out many aspects, although I did fairly pick something in between the extremes and not the best/worst score (was that a burn?).  So long as the discounts keep coming I'll resubscribe each year, but if the recent trend of already repeating content is all we see from here on out then that score will most certainly lower --- as well as my likelyhood of resubscribing.

Bonus:

1. The discounts.  A free game means nothing to me when I've already purchased so many of the potential candidates (almost exclusively first party, anyone?) but the discounts are coming from many of the best publishers, and not on just their "leftover" games mind you.

2. That it's rulebook seems to be more dynamic than the theories global warming, who will win the super bowl, and the universe --- combined!  Seriously, just write up a formal declation of what exactly my $50 purchase will entitle me to, stamp it with the Sony Seal of Approval and stick to it!

3. I'd do what I just suggested above in Bonus 2.  I'd clearly lay out what benefits are guarenteed each month.  Adding to that, I'd proceed to list what actually will be presented a timely time in advance.  I think that one thing that prevents so many people from hopping on board is the worry that they really don't know exactly what they are buying into, and Sony isn't helping much to calm their fears.  How many times does a game go on sale for Plus and then you hear the complaints "I just bought that last month/week/yesterday"?  The less shrouded Plus is in mystery the more confident people would be to buying into it.  You might lose a few sales today with people knowing what will be on sale, but you'd more than make up for it over the year with people buying more and more games that can now afford since they were convinced to join Plus.

Weird.  When I look at the list of discussions you aren't actually listed as the most recent post.  What's up with that?

Also, since you clicked reply on my post, is that a jape directed at me?  I can't tell if you're attempting to be rude (and my guess then would be you don't actaully have plus), or if you're serious.  I mean, I know what it's like to have such a huge backlog of quality retail games that all these little trinket games (read: Minis) we're being offered are just sitting there waiting to be played eventually.

I'm just not sure.

i probably clicked reply at your comment because it was faster than clicking the one from the OP, i have ps+ since day one, and i can't say that i haven't enjoyed a few games, but ps+ needs to decide whether it's a service that focuses on free games or a service that improves the online experience...because i'm looking for the second one, i can pay for my games...i just want new features, i loved cloud saving as i have two systems and i'm looking forward to have a lot more things related to the online gaming experience that i get from PSN and not just a bunch of free games
