Re: [REVIEW] - Grip It - DualShock 4 Analog Stick Covers

Thanks for the overview. I had looked at these and thought about buying them as the price didn't seem too high on Amazon. However, the lack of concave shape really is a killer for me. I hate flat/convex thumb sticks. I'm also not in love with the frog hand design. There is another company that has their own thumb stick covers but they are way too high doubling the current height of the thumb sticks.

My DS4 is fine though so I'm not worried now.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, any more of a height increase is a deal breaker for me. I think the perceived benefits of a taller stick are merely placebo. I don't have any leverage issues. Smiley Tongue

It is good that there are choices however and whatever works for you, go for it.

cool I was interested and now we have one less difference between the DS3 and DS4, which for those who oppose change is great.

I myself would get these as I dont like the concave Ds4 sticks and would like-wise worry about premature wear.

Also I flick from the center, which isnt really possible with DS4 without these.

Thanks for the review, but you use them do they have any slippage?

Finally, the structure of my question is that you would have to disprove every possible outcome to be correct and I would just have to have one that would likely be beneficial. That's statistically in my favor by quite a bit.

So far so good.

Even if they were smooth (logo free) they would still have a nice grippy texture but the raised elements add additional traction.

My thumbs don't get sweaty when I play so I really did not have issues with the original sticks.

The only thing I have noticed since my initial installation is that at maximum throw the edge of the cover can contact the controller shell and create a little drag. I honestly did not notice it in game but I did notice it while sitting my desk fiddling with them.

It maybe nit picky but when I am evaluating something, I leave out no details (added to OP)

I have been trying to "torture test" them by using them as a fidget tool while reading the forums, etc.
