So I'm either going to receive a PSN gift card or buy one during this Christmas season.
I don't have a credit card or plan to enter any kind of credit card information into my Playstation account.
Am I still able to buy stuff off the network with the gift card?
(What I mean is: on my Nook, if I get a Barnes and Noble gift card, you still need to have credit card information to use the gift card. But on iTunes, you can redeem a gift card and buy stuff without a credit card. How does it work with PSN cards?)
Also I only see $20 and $50 dollars cards. Any other values? Because if I want to get a 19.99 game like Crysis 1 or Vanquish, I couldn't because the tax would make it over 20. And I'm only getting a $20 dollar card
And anyone know the sales tax amount on PSN games, so I can calculate how much I'll need when I purchase games?

You won't require a credit card to use a PSN gift card on the PlayStation Store.

Sales tax will depend on the state you reside in, you should be able to easily check that online with a search engine like Google.

Ahh so that's how it works. Tax depends on what state you live in... you learn something new everyday. lol
Indeed it does, for example here in Florida I pay no sales tax on PlayStation Store purchases, but I know other states do charge it.

I live in New York. Any fellow residents know if we get charged tax in NY?
And thanks for the other answers

@ Fidelity
So just to be certain, if I want to get Crysis 1 for 19.99, no tax in NY?
Just look it up cvbxsta, it's very easy to find!
