Re: Qriocity Music Unlimited Charges are Shady!! Check Your Service Subscriptions NOW.

Yeah the same crap happened to me. I got charged and the same day I called them and they said they were a s s sorry. All purchases are final. This is really crap it really made angry. They should be more like the "White Orb with the X" and be more friendly. I have both systems and I used to play the other system with no problems and with the PS3 there is always something going wrong of the time.

there is nothing shady about it, like everyone else said, every single online subscription will automaticly renew it. you have to turn off auto renew in order to stop it from doing this, it's nothing new that you get charged if you enter a online subscription at the end of the subscription or trial.

Re: Qriocity Music Unlimited Charges are Shady!! Check Your Service Subscriptions NOW.

Guess what! I had my auto renewal turned off and thought I would be okay and wouldn't be charged. Sony turned it on without my knowledge and then proceeded to take 5 months worth out of my wallet before I noticed. I received no email to say the subscription had changed to a paying one and I didn't notice because no money was taken out of my bank account only my wallet.

It is devious and underhanded. I don't care what anyone says. I am going to the ombudsman about this as it it not clear and upfront as the customer service rep said.

I don't understand how people still don't understand this. It's a common practice used by most companies, if you bothered to read the fine print you would be much more aware of what you're getting into.
