um. no such thing as blue light of death. also, refering to a light and death is only when the console breaks. just restart your vita.

However, an update is probably needed, my vita doesnt neccesarily freeze when trying to download a game sometimes, but it doesnt download, and it doesnt let me back out.

Maybe you should stop trying to hack it.

Seriously, if you were having that many problems, a normal person would think "Well maybe my Vita is defective" and return it for a new one under warranty.

Because I guarantee no one else here has as many issues as you do.

Actually, I have had an issue since day one where sometimes (only sometimes) when my PSV is charging the touch controls will stop working if it goes into sleep mode for lack of activity. Sometimes unplugging the power cord fixes it, sometimes it doesn't. Needless to say, I don't try to hack my PSV but given I'm not in America having to go through the whole replacement process seemed like an excessive drag to put myself through~.

What do you mean touch controls stop working? As in, you can't swipe away the lock screen?

I've had that happen. All I do is attempt once, fail, sit for 2 seconds, try again, it instantly works again.
