Ps3 wireless stereo headset charging question.

ok so i just picked these bad boys up today and wanna give them a full charge for use on mw3 tonight. when i plug it into the usb cable the light on the boom turns red signifying that it is charging. now for the question, how do i know when its done charging? will the light turn off or a different color? or do i just keep it plugged in for awhile and theyre good to go? i dont wanna overcharge them or anything to damage them, so any help would be greatly app. thank u in advance for answering my question and i apologize if this is in the wrong part of the forums.

Have you read the owners manual?

I know. It's funny. They'll read a forum post from an anonymous source and believe it but not what came with the item.

I think I'm the one that gave the correct answer. Not you.

Re: Ps3 wireless stereo headset charging question.

In the usb specs, current begins to decline as the battery approaches full charge.  Hence, in a system with no damage, you cannot overcharge or "supercharge" a battery (including the wireless headset) to some dangerous level. Once it is fully charged, you can leave it plugged in for days and no harm will come to the battery inside your headset. Hope this helps -

Re: Ps3 wireless stereo headset charging question.

So how is the sound on those bad boys, I use the tritton ax720 and love them. My wife has been wanting a good headset but dont want to spend as much as I did on mine so was wondering how well those worked.

Re: Ps3 wireless stereo headset charging question.

The light will turn off. After you use them press the on tab twice real fast. If the light flashes red three times it is fully charged, twice is 50% and once is almost out.

As far as the sound, to me they sound great, some of the best I have owned for the $price. I do like the surround sound and the ability to turn down the game so you can here the chat.
