Sorry but you are playing COD afterall.
The biggest most popular shooter out there.
If ever a cheater existed it was on a COD game.
So its seems to try and protect people from the constant cheaters they had to develope a system to punish players from leaving mid-match to preserve their stats.
So lag switch, pulling out the ethernet cable, a drop in ISP connection and just to be safe they assume you are tryin to cheat and are letting you know they are paying attention.
It may just be an empty threat they hope will scare the cheaters? Guess you will find out soon enough if your internet keeps randomly dropping out mid match.
Or just play a less popular game with less restrictions and cheaters in it.
Finally, the structure of my question is that you would have to disprove every possible outcome to be correct and I would just have to have one that would likely be beneficial. That's statistically in my favor by quite a bit.
