Privacy Settings on PSN/PS3

2 replies 114 views Edited Mar 17, 2013

Is there a way to turn on advance privacy settings? Although I have a list of friends on my PS3 network, and sometimes I am interested in playing with certain individuals for particular games.. I do not want to offend the others but I am being viewed to be online by everyone. For example, is there an invisibility option (eg. gchat) or privacy settings (such as facebook) that I don't know?

There also seems to be a timestamp (last log in time) that can be viewed by others - which I prefered to be turned off.

There are no options for being visible only to certain friends. The closest you can get to not being seen is setting your status to "Not Available."

You also cannot get rid of the timestamp for last signed in.

Yeah, I figured that was the case. You would hope there might be some kind of patch update that addresses this considering the PS4's "social media" features are similar to Facebook.
