Price to fix an Out of Warranty PS Vita?

Would anyone have an idea as to the price it would cost for Sony to service or maintain an out of warranty Vita?

For the most part, I believe the standard is around $130 (at least it was pre-price drop), and that gets you a refurb.

Well, in general terms, the battery is shot. It won't hold a charge at all, which takes away from the portable aspect. Especially if I want to play a game online. It'll go from full battery, to giving a low battery warning, then will turn off not 5 minutes after. Thanks for the repair guide, but I'd rather not mess with it myself for fear of messing something else up.

Let me rephrase. It apperently holds some kind of charge, because if I wait about 30 seconds after it turns of with the empty battery sign then hit the power button, It'll turn back on as if I put it to sleep showing a full battery status.
