Preferred Controller?

8 replies 46 views Edited Mar 3, 2012

Out of all of the controllers used on PlayStation consoles, which do you prefer?

PS1 analog-less control pad

Dual Analog

DualShock

DualShock 2

Sixaxis

DualShock 3

I myself prefer the DualShock 2 and the original DualShock, because of it's bulky, but comfortable feel, the Analog button (in which you can choose to use the Analog sticks or the D-pad), the shape, and there's no Wii-like connecting gimmick you have to do, because all you have do is plug it in and play.

I only really care about the PSone and PS2...

Alright, but some may prefer one variation than others, because:

a. Nostaliga

b. Actual likings

c. What they have

I only really care about the PSone and PS2...

You could buy a long USB extension cable if you aren't happy with the PS3's "Wii-like connecting gimmick". I like having wireless controllers.

I prefer the DualShock 3. It's wireless, reliable, and definitely sturdy. Also, the rumble doesn't disappoint despite it's relatively long battery life.
