So lesson is to use another HDMI cable because that HDMI cable that came with the PS4 probably pushed the metal up.
I have an extra HDMI cable that I was planning to use any way. I DEFINITELY will now.
So half the issues have just been solved. I love how he said that "we didnt bend it", and then when it shows the video of them hooking it up, they just RAM tHE CABLE in the general direction, until it sort of lines up and squishes in.
Must have had a few "oh snit" moments in some of the more sensual times of his life too........Oooops
Alright guys the best thing you can do to prevent this is to use another HDMI cable! Because it's either the port or the cable that's faulty. Since you can't use another port, the best thing to do is to use another HDMI cable. The ones that came with the PS4 are probably poor quality and causing the little metal pieces to bend up. Furthermore, just make sure you insert the HDMI cable carefully just in case the port is at fault.
The Hi11Zone guy right now is trying the kotaku fix but so far no luck. But the guy has screwed around with that PS4 so much that I'm pretty sure it's broken.
