Plus and Bioshock Infinite

12 replies 155 views Edited Jan 30, 2014

Why when I go to the Playstation Store and go to the bioshock infinite free game, does it always download as a 1hr trial?

I did the exact same process for DMC no issue as well as probably close to 100 other games over the years and this is the only one which keeps doing it.

I am not in the trials section, I go to the IGC section, or the front section whats new or what-ever.

Have downloaded 3 times, each time once installed it says it expires on a date 6-7 months before my plus expires.

I had previously downloaded the 1hr trial but never played it, I deleted it and thought I was downloading the free game, but its always the trial.

Maybe after the 1hr expires it will recognize that its free?

Has anyone ever downloaded a trial, not played it, then downloaded the full game and had issues?

Let me know.

thanx in advance!

Yep if you download a full game trial you have to play it before you can get the full game. I've seen others have the same problem and that was their solution.

I didn't have this issue, but then again I did it through the PlayStation Store Website. Did you go to Free Game's under the PlayStation Plus section? Game trails shouldn't be under Free Games.

Yeah as Mercenary said: if you had downloaded a "trail"ed game, you HAVE to play it through it's time limit before you can buy/play it fully.

The Flying Grayson, Nightwing, Robin, They were about more than fight moves. They were about inspiration, comfort, trust, family. I gave that up to become a spy. a Spider man; A Tsuchigumo. I have changed.
But I'll Always be D. Grayson

Thanx guys.

I will just turn the game on and wait an hour till it expires.

Not interested in this game right now, but dont want it to leave the IGC and I dont have the right version.

Cheers!

I wasted like 20GB of bandwidth already on this darn game I have not played, lol.

cheers!

It's a great game. Begining is slow but it picks up after about 20 mins and it gets a lot better when you get guns and powers.

Think you mean canon.

Bioshock Infinite follows a different storyline and with new characters, but there are some references to the first two Bioshock games.

They take place in the same universe, technically.

I have not played the first 2 bioshock games. But Infinite really has me thinking of pick both of them up.

Bioshock 1 is great.

Bioshock 2 is decent, but a bit short.

They're quite a bit different from Infinite, honestly. Same type of playstyle kind of. But less open.
