Please Add Multiple PS3's

8 replies 1927 views Edited Jul 4, 2010

I won 2 PS3's like many other people and would like to access PSN+ from both and choose to download games to either hardrive. I  have the same master account on both so Sony should know I am not 2 people. I am not looking to share games with nonsubscribers, just want some flexibility with multiple systems. Please add this feature Sony. Anybody else feel the same?

I think its only tied to one console and can't be shared with other consoles. I get what your saying about wanting to use the subscription on more than one console as you have the same account, but Sony would never allow that.

Isn't PSN+ tied to the PSN ID that bought it?  That being the case, I'm pretty sure as long as you sign onto any other PS3 with the PSN+-enabled ID, you should have access to the PSN+ content.  Up to 5 PS3s, of course, since that is part of the standard PS3 content license.

Yeah the only thing I could really see is that the Automatic downloads would be on 1 PS3. If you sign onto it at the very least you should be able to go to your downloads list and download them.

Wish granted!  You can already do that.  Game content that you download from Playstation Plus can be downloaded to up to five PS3s that are activated under the PSN account that subscribed to Plus, just like all other game content on the Playstation Store. Video content, like Qore episodes, can only be downloaded to one PS3 unless it is free for everyone; just like all of the other video content on the Playstation Store. The only issue with multiple PS3s is that the automatic downloads feature can only be used on one PS3 per PSN account. You can download the content manually to your other PS3.

Are both PS3s activated under the PSN+ account?  If not, there's your problem.

Everything works on up to five consoles such as games and add-ons. There are only three exceptions: avatars and the Plus logo on profile are strictly limited to the paid account and auto-download only works on one console.
