Playstation Plus+ Free Games, how it works?(contract-basis)

[ Edited ]

Hi guys,

I'm just interesed in how the plus+ free games work.

For example, i would love to see games likes Motorstorm, Folklore (PLEASE!!), Heavenly Sword, Resistance, Killzone, GoW... etc.

Old games that no one buy by now but they do not appears on plus+

So, what is the deal?

Full PS3 Free games for plus+ must have:

-Trophies

-Be released when PS+ was announced. ( 2010 )

-Sell at leats 500k copies.

-Be in the market for 6 months or more.

Any other toughts?

Re: Playstation Plus+ Free Games, how it works?(contract-basis)

The free games released on Plus have no specific criteria for whether they have trophies or the year they're released in. Mostly it seems that the Instant Game Collection is based around related games. Borderlands came out last September back when Borderlands 2 was new in stores. Haven't played the second yet? Try the first!

With BioShock Infinite in March, the second game released this past December. In November Resident Evil 5 was presented a month after Resident Evil 6 hit the pavement. We've also seen a steady stream of sports games (in relation to the Superbowl) and fighting titles (particularly with PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale being one of those games Sony wanted to gloat about this past year).

With God of War: Ascension coming up, you might predict that we'll see the God of War Origins cage open up to freedom soon.
