I just bought a Playstation Network Card to add funds to my account. I entered the code and the screen said that funds were added to my wallet, but it didn't leave out of the transaction page like it normally does and when I closed the message box, it stayed on the "This card has a value of $20.00, do you want to add funds to your wallet?" page. I left out and checked my wallet and it only showed $3.97 in my wallet. I then went back into the redeem codes section and tried entering the code again and it says "Unable to add funds."

Has anyone heard of this happening before? If so, where does the money go if it isn't in my wallet and no longer on the card? I'm going to go back to Gamestop to see if they will give me a new one, but I've never heard of this happening and I buy these network cards all the time.....

just happened to me, i bought some virgin mobile cards at the same time as i did the psn card, they dont work either so it has to be cause the cashier didnt activate them.

I'm not sure but i've seen users having PSN sign-in issues today, If PSN is having maintenance today then that's most likely the reason, You could call SONY at: 1-800-345-7669, But i think it's just maintenance.

Manrod18 - It's says there is a $20 value on there PSN card? - Just can't add the money, so the PSN card is activated, I think it's just because PSN maintenance might be happening at the moment, just try to add your funds again soon - Good Luck!

I just purchased a 20$ PSN card less than an hour ago and it's saying the same thing for me.

Just try using your PSN cards later, ok? If it's saying there is a $20 PSN card value then the card was activated - Just can't add the funds to your PSN account most likely due to PSN maintenance, So Good Luck and try again soon.

Well thanks for the help but i'm still gonna see what walmart has to say, because the other cards i bought wont work either. I'll just be a little nicer about it now lol

I just bought a $50 dollar PSN card, and I'm getting the error when I try to redeem it.
