Hi i was playing Battlefield 3 on my xbox 360 and had a score of 60-18 with lots of time left. My xbox then decided to freeze.
So my question is will the PS4's Internal fan's counter it getting really hot and freezing ?
Will it tell us if it's getting to hot.
to be clear once i get it i plan to game for long periods of time(5-8 hours).
I am concerned about the PS5 not having a big enough HDD. And the PS6 doesn't have verbal command support? WTH!? Shouldn't the PS6 be smarter than the ships computer in Star Trek TNG?
Sony you are really starting to irk me!
If you were playing on metro then it tends to freeze between 60 and 100 kills
I know this from experience
Turn your A/C lower and turn on the ceiling fan.
But maybe its more to do with the game itself and not the console?
The PS4 like the PS3 will of course have a cooling fan or fans, I'm pretty sure if the system gets too hot a warning will be shown, gaming for 5-8 hours at a time is quite long, I suggest you take regular breaks from gaming, not just for the health of your PS4 but of your own body too!
And don't forget to put the PS4 in the freezer during these breaks. Actually DON'T do this. It will create condensation that will ruin it.
What's more interesting though is the fact that the PlayStation 4's operating temperature is listed as being between five and 35 degrees Celsius, which is cooler than the PS3. While Sony's current console is meant to run between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius, if it peaks at over 60 degrees you could encounter the infamous Yellow Light of Death, which essentially reduces your PS3 to a paperweight.
My my Q6600 CPU has been running at around 40 celcius with a 1 Gig overclock on H2O for the last like 5-6 years. So if this is true I wouldn't expect too many problems.
