Im thinking of buy the 3d display, but im going to use it as an PC monitor. And I was wondering if it is any good for that? Im a person that hates delay, So it means much to me that it reacts fast. Anyone that owns one of these? is it any good with a PC?

Haven't hooked it up for a PC display yet but I am looking to buy a second one to do just that.  Its great on the PS3 and Xbox.  Haven't noticed any delays on those so I would imagine a PC (hooked up through HDMI or Component cables) would be fine.

I've heard it's great for split screen co-op. But don't know about as a pc monitor.

I'm interested in picking one up as well.  There have been a few sales where it has gone as low as $99.99... I wish I had the money to get it at the time, but for $179.99, right now it is probably the best PC monitor you could get.

I heard they stopped producing them, so lots of retailers are liquidating them.

I am thinking about picking up one of these 3D displays for my PS3 and my computer. But I am a little hesitant because of the bad things I have been reading online. Have you guys/gals experienced any problems with the display, if so what kinds of problems. Do you recommend that I buy one or not.

Re: Playstation 3d display

I have one, one of the first one's for sale. I wanted a 3D capable monitor for my PS3 and my PC to use.

I have connected my Win 7 laptop to it for a long time, and since January a pc I built myself. I have 3D capable via both my PS3 and the computer. Nvidia is what my video cards are, and they won't let me use that monitor for anything but Bluray 3D movies.

3D does work though, PC and PS3 are awesome in that respect (movies on pc, movies and games on PS3) The monitor isn't the best with a computer, but it is a cheap 3D solution now. (Not when I got it though!)

If you can find one, it's not THAT bad if it works. The worst thing I get is the very occassional blackout screen. Nothing makes it go away. I don't get that problem hardly ever, but when I do then I often get another sooner or later. It's just a blank out of a couple seconds.

I get it with my pc, or with the PS3. Only on Starhawk so far on my PS3, or when using the Browser on my PC. Never during every other game or movie watching. It's not clear what it is, you'd get more than one idea as to what is really causing it. Overall the deal for me is, I couldn't have afforded any other price for a 3D monitor of any kind at that time, and I would buy another at the current way lower price in a heartbeat.

There are other monitors that will work with 3D, but it's like Nvidia won't ever play nice with PS3, or that monitor, so I am looking to get a Samsung newer 3D one for my PC and sport 2 monitors for my PC, keep the PS Display as the second, dual-use monitor, part time for my pc, full time for my ps3.
