PlayStation Plus Deals for January 1st, 2013

I had adjusted my date ahead a week for the purpose of getting a trophy for Journey (waiting a week without playing the game). Afterward, I logged onto the PS Store without returning my date back to normal and noticed that it showed some deals for next week.

On the Welcome tab it looks like we are getting:

but i buy an activision game --- nascar inside line--- and i cant have a budweiser car because it promotes alchol ------seems kinda silly dosent it

I don't think many people are going to be happy with NBA Jam, but I think there is supposed to be another free PS3 selection next week...

Wow, that's a neat little trick. Wonder if Sony will notice this and try to patch that up.

Seems pretty lackluster. I'll probably purchase Skull Girls and that's about it.

Interesting that the system could be manipulated like that. lol.

However, on the PS Blog, Morgan stated that we'd be getting a Vita IGC addition and I didn't think NBA Jam was available for Vita, so that's a bit fishy.

Another over the top sports game that has very little appeal? Because NFL Blitz was a huge success story for Plus? People generally like football more then basketball and all hell broke lose about Blitz.

Let me get my popcorn and blanket....can't wait to watch the show.

Also if you go to the top psn category in the store it will show Tokyo Jungle as $10.49(It's $14.99 when I click it) so I'm assuming that's going to be on sale for next too

EDIT: Went to the PSVita channel and it appears that Chronovolt is going to be the free plus game.
