I deleted it too and came straight here from a bookmark. I suppose the new partner, innovyx, thinks they're being funny with phrases like "including your wallet and the funds in it" but I guess I didn't get the joke. That phrase alone made the entire email suspect as far as I was concerned. In what way is that professional? *shrugs* At any rate, I'm safely here, agreed to the new ToS, and now I'm saying good night.

I didn't get any email from sony even though I own only psp now . If I did get an email from Sony, it always shows up in my inbox and not junk/spam.

If you have any doubts as to the legitimacy of the email, and Innoyx, perhaps you should look at the newsletter emails you receive from Sony, if you're subscribed (like the weekly Store emails, for example). Innoyx is a marketing agency. Sony sends their newsletters through Innoyx. The fact that the email links to Qriocity.com further proves this is not a scam.

This happens every single time Sony sends out a Terms of Service change via email. People think it's a scam and a means to phish information, without using even 1% of their brain and actually researching the email, like finding out where it's coming from, and realizing, OMG! Innoyx is a marketing agency. They communicate with customers of corporate clients, like Sony.

And hey, wouldn't you know it, they list PlayStation as a client!

Well, I'll be damned.

Stop being so paranoid and use common sense once in a while.

Re: PlayStation Network email

Did you read it fully? If you did you would have noticed it states that if you decline the new TOS your wallet will be refunded to you. Meaning you will not be allowed access to the PSN. Therefore no access, no need for wallet funds. What is fishy about that?

The level of fear mongoring that goes on here lately is ridiculous.

Perhaps it's because the change is due to take effect on April 1, and it is not April 1 yet, so they are not obligated to answer as Sony Network Entertainment.

Please. Use common sense. It works wonders.
