We wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that there is a planned maintenance for PlayStation Network scheduled for Monday, December 3rd from 8AM to 4PM Pacific Time (11AM to 7PM Eastern). To clarify, this is an eight hour maintenance.
If you’ve signed onto PSN over the past few days, you’ll still be able to play online and access apps during this period, but you may receive a maintenance notification when attempting to access the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management as these services will be unavailable. Be sure to sign in now if you wish to access the Network during this maintenance window.

Might want to check out these other threads that've popped up overnight. Looks like people in the middle of the country can't get online. Might be a hub somewhere else in the country between them and you..... or god knows what else (doubt they all have the same ISP but who knows). Me personally? I've been fine since the last firmware update 4.31 or w/e, in fact since then I've STOPPED randomly dc'ing from the network and the trophy list stopped freezing (while syncing) sometimes. I live in Miami FL
I've been having problems staying connected to the PSN for about 4 days now. Just constant dropping every few minutes, makes no sense. Also I'm on the east coast, I have read that some posters out west are having what appears to be same issue as me. I am having this issue on two PS3s and my Vita.
Internet is fine on my end, everything else is conencting without issue.
