Physical Mailing Address Sony Japan

12 replies 378 views Edited Feb 15, 2009

Is there a physical address to Sony Japan? I searched sony.jp. However, I had no luck. First I don't speak Japanese second they are not too clear on service and support options. So is there an address out there? I have an orginal Sony PSP 1000 Not 1001 but 1000. I would like to get it fixed to operating condition. If someone out there knows of the address please respond.

Respectfully

As per Sony US they will not fix a Sony PSP that is orginaly from Japan. I have been told directly to send the PSP to Japan. That is why I asked for a Sony Japan address not Sony USA. Thanks for the help though but tell I get a Sony Japan address I am stuck with a plastic brick.

The correct way to contact Sony about PSP repair is to call Consumer Services. They will be able to give you all the information about the repair, and it's they who will send you the packaging to return your PSP to them.

SCEA Consumer Services
1-800-345-SONY (7669)
Monday - Saturday 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM PST
Sunday 7:00 - AM 6:30 PM PST

Having said that, I'm not sure that SCEA will accept a Japanese PSP for repair, but if not, they should be able to tell you who to contact in japan.

call them @

0570-000-929

or use this

https://www.jp.playstation.com/support/formSF/en/

I don't understand why you would want an address at this point... do you just plan to send it to them and hope they know what to do with it... and ship it back internationally?

call/email them and find out what your options are.

Tougane, Chiba

JAPAN (zip) 283-0013

2. For Hokkaido, Northern prefectures, Hokuriku region (Niigata, Toyama, Ishikawa, Fu-kui), Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma:

Bless you my friend your the ONLY person that had what I needed thank you. Like I said I have an orignal PSP that I bought in Hong Kong some years ago. Sony USA does not want to touch it. Why I don't know I think it would be good experince for the workers there to fix a orginal PSP but guess Japan Kung Fu is much stronger then back home in the USA. Hopfully Japan Sony will fix it. Thanks

Lonny

I think the problem with SCEA accepting foreign PSPs for repair is that to save turnaround time, the normal proceedure is for them to ship out a refurbished unit in place of the broken one.

I doubt whether they would have any Japanese refurbs to send out to you, and they certainly couldn't send out your Japanese one refurbished to someone who sent in a US model.
