It is my favorite game on the PSV so far, but that's because I like JRPGs which not everybody does (it was my favorite PS2 game too). So whether it's the best game or not is relative to the genre of prefence every person has~.

As for SMTIV going 3DS exclusive, it makes sense. P4: The Golden is an enhanced port. But it's still a port, there was no high cost involved in its production; whereas SMTIV is a whole new entry and it makes perfect sense they'd want to sell it on the console with the highest user base, better sales guarantees the continuity of the series which, ultimately, is all that it should matter~.

Yeah, but they could make it multiplatform, or maybe the two are too different to do that.

I think this is a bait to get more 3DS sales

I'd go beyond that, its probably one of the best games ever. Its my second favorite game of all time, next to the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

It is far and away the best game on the vita.

It doesn't provide skimmed down gameplay for mobile
The presentation is top notch – the menus are gorgeous
The visuals are great – The widescreen cut scenes are awesome
The voice over is engaging and really draws you into story
and most important the Story is amazing, and the characters convincing

I own a lot of games for the vita, and this is one I'm really excited to dig in this holiday. 2nd for me would be NFS MW because i love racing games

One of the major keys that is vital to the gaming industry is "diversity" and "console system exclusivity".

One of the great mistakes that has been made today is the fact that many franchises are no longer exclusive to a certain console. I still remember the day when Call of Duty was exclusive to the PC and XBOX platform before it expanded to other systems. Tekken and Disgaea were once PlayStation exclusive in the not to distant past but sadly those days seem gone for good.

I think that Nintendo has made a very smart and bold move in that ZombiU and Bayonetta 2 are exclusive to their new platform. In order for the console/handheld gaming market to regain it's stronghold against the awful rise of mobile cell phone gaming the Big Three (Sony PlayStation, Nintendo, Microsoft XBOX) must ressurect platform exclusivity. Sony PlayStation needs to enter into more licensing deals and I think that having Persona 4 Golden as a PS Vita exclusive has been excellent in helping to boost Vita sales. I am still waiting anxiously for a Sony to annouce new god of war and Fat Princess games at E3 for the PS Vita.
