Once you update your PS Vita to v2.00 and PS Store publishes next Tuesday, PS Plus members will be able to download the Instant Game Collection, which includes PS Vita games Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Jet Set Radio HD, WipEout 2048, Gravity Rush and Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack!, as well as (PSP) PlayStation Portable hit Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions.
Correct me if im wrong, but we getting all those games next tuesday. The guy in video said that we be getting a game each month, but the PS blog say next tuesday.
All games that they list will be with the update. Just that 1 free game will change over to a new free game every month. (Just like how the freegames change over for the ps3.)
I don't believe that the cycling schedule has been announced for the Vita part of PS+. It should be at least one game a month, but I think it will be 2 free game selections a month.
In the PS3 portion of the PS+ program is working toward a free game selection each week, which is probably being implemented right now...
I agree with that. On PS3, PS+ has 12 games, 4 new ones a month (currently). It would make sense for the Vita, with 6 games, to get 2 new ones a month (half as much). As long as they offer enough recent games (which, if there are frequent Vita retail games they will be), I think it's a good deal for Vita-only users. Certainly this first month is worth the ~$4
.

I thought the Vita browser was descent enough. I primarily used my phone/tablet/ PC/360 for web browsing - used my Vita as a online guide's type of deal whenever I used it's browser anyhow. The browser on vita is loads better than the DS, PSP, and 3DS browser and I can use it for my general browsing just fine. If I want to see how much people hate the vita and it's games here in this forum, I can on the Vita easily. Same with if I want to see IGN and Gamespot (which transition smoothly) with their hate of the Vita and their reviews, I can easily do so on the Vita. Improving the browser even more is a plus, it was good already. All I would like to do is to be able to use it during my game but not a necessity really.
I honostly think mastorofpuppetz that you generally are like some of the users here who expected a mirror image of the PS3 in handheld form for the Vita and are expecting the skies the limit type of deal (aka had SUPER HIGH Expectations). Now that you have buyer's remorse and hate the Vita, your only wish in life now is to sway as many people possible to hate it as much as you do. If you have buyers remorse or early adopters disappointment syndrome, move on to something else until it get's better. Yoou honestly remind me of 1st year PS3 owners who expected the world on yur plate and more :/ ... Either that or you are the biggest troll I've seen here and feeding you is only making you love to be here to griefing people...
A good read btw mastorofpuppetz : http://www.ign.com/blogs/ereeeek/2012/11/13/when-d
Philipee2 is the first commenter there and said it best, "If there is one thing every gamer needs to understand, it's that not everything is designed to please them. The sooner we all understand this, the sooner the community grows up." *slow clap*

Thanks for pointing that out because it further supports my case and not yours. If you skip to 1:33 mark he states: "Simular to what we done on the PS3 side, we are going to add new games every month to the collection." So that should mean at least two Vita PS+ selections a month...

It's a great deal especially if you're new to the Vita. Unfortunately I already own every game except Jet Set Radio. I bought my Vita a few weeks after launch and went a little crazy buying games for it. But i regret nothing!

I completely agree, the Vita PS+ program is going to benefit new owners the most, just like PS+ did when they revamped it with the IGC for the PS3. I plan to buy the AC3 bundle this year, and with PS+ I am going to get $100 worth of retail Vita games I was going to buy eventually anyway. I had expected Wipeout, but I am astounded that Uncharted and Gravity Rush would be included too. If the word gets out properly, it should attract a lot of pontential Vita owner, expecially PS3 owners who are already PS+ subscribers.
IMO, I'm glad I waited until now to buy a Vita. This is certainly the best time this year to buy, especially since the functionality that should have been in place at launch is now ready, and there is a decent selection of games...

The Vita right now is awesome, when I look at the games I own for it I'm astonished. That's why I can't understand why it's not doing better in sales. IMO the games I have now are better than the games I had for the psp, ps2, and ps3 this far into its lifecycle, and it's only going to get better. It was just announced today that Bend studios the makers of Syphon Filter franchise is making a AAA title for the Vita. So it's only going to get better.

IMO part of the reason is the market for portable gaming has been fractured by cheap/free games available smartphones & tablets, when the PSP was released it really only had competition from Nintendo's handhelds. Also the Vita has had a problem putting out retail games on a regular basis. I don't think this problem is going to clear up until the second half of 2013 at the earliest...
