PSP Semi-Bricked???

1 replies 154 views Edited Sep 9, 2012

Whenever I turn my psp on with the battery in, it's bricked. BUT, when I turn it on with just the power supply and hold down the home button, It starts up normally. Is it an issue with my battery? I was thinking about flashing it to 1.50 I really don't want to make it completely worthless. I use cfw to play some of my gba, nes, and snes games on it. The analog stick is broken and the battery cover doesn't completely go on... should I risk trying to flash it or should I just leave it in a semi-workable state?

well buddy just buy a new battery if you have to and you can hack the newest firmware so no need to flash back to 1.50
