My PSP Go was fine until yesterday... when EXACTLY this problem happened.
I really hope sony gives us an answer... because it is very hard to talk to someone in this company that can actually helpus in this matter.
I was very happy with the console and this matter made me very disapointed with the quality of the product and the lack of attention that sony has with the costumers.
This also happened to me over the weekend. I am unable to format my system storage and I cant even write to the system storage or delete files within windows or on the psp go itself.
I have tried several data remeval/format programs and nothing seems to be working.
Anyone got any other ideas besides return to SONY?
Have you tried formatting it in Linux or a PS3?
Have you tried draining the battery completely and restarting?
Is there an emergency reset button somewhere like most devices have?
im haveing the same problem i droped my psp go and now it can't read the system storage. It tells me to format the system storage but it wouldn't let me. Did you ever fix yours? if you did how?
Has anyone with this problem tried holding Square, Triangle, Start, and Select while turning the power on (system must be fully off first, so hold the power switch up until it's completely off before trying this)? That is a reset boot that restores the factory defaults.
Everyone thinks I'm psychotic (except my friends deep inside the earth).
