Are you talking about the 2011 hack? If so, why bring it up now? If you really want to discuss about the 2011 hack, should of done that back in 2011, not in 2014. The past is the past.

Two things:

1. The hacking did happen... About four years ago. And it was widely facepalmingly overblown by the "gaming media" and continues to be brought up today with frequent exaggeration.

Yeah, it was so "overblown" and "exaggerated" that it took Sony forever and a day to actually get their network to be safe again...

but it still took like a month and a half to get it back online.

How do you know MS hasn't been hacked multiple times??

They don't HAVE to tell you...

It's probably run on Windows, so, yeah...

Sony also did everything right to repair the damage and more! They were open and truthful about it offered compensation to its customers Closed PSN till they got it right! The free games offered may have even been the birth of PS Plus as we know it today. Customer appreciation at its best! Yes it was bad but with Sony it was win win for the customers!

Getting Older doesn't mean it's GAME OVER
It's a better idea to buy games for your PS4
Than to buy a New Console for your PS4

Anyone can get hacked. These are just a few.

A major hack at Target stole credit and debit card data from 40 million customers.

35000 websites hacked using an exploit in vBulletin Forum Software

Snapchat Hack Leaks Millions of Names and phone Numbers

even Microsoft gets hacked.

If a hacker wants to do it bad enough it will happen. Sad truth.

Microsoft doesn't need to get hacked to expose customer's personal information.

They're just giving it away. Smiley Tongue
