it started to me like 2 munths a go its pissing me off so much it hapens no mater what game im playing

I too am now seeing this error. Funny thing is I never had a problem until I gave up MW2 for CoD4, about 3 weeks ago, and that's when it started popping up. Ports are forwarded, PS3 is in a DMZ, brand new router on the fastest Cox DSL package...everything *should* be legit. I'll get to the title screen, a lobby or get a few games in, then I magically sign out of PSN. The other 4 computers on my home network (2 wired, 2 wireless) and the WiFi on my Droid are unaffected. It doesn't seem to happen with any other game I play, either.

I did find that changing my DNS server IP addresses (just the couple of random ones I found when I Googled this issue originally) seemed to help for a few hours to a few days at a time...it's a bit of a pain, but what can you do.

I'm getting the same error code and it somehow has affect MW2 online play for me. I figured that since i have one of the older models (60 gb) it was probably one of the update issues the older models typically get but there's been no fixes yet. I'll start a game and there will be invisible objects, i can't hear harriers or choppers, and after a match, it'll freeze completely at the score screen. I have to turn off the ps3 manually and it'll beep 3 times and shut off. I contacted sony and they had me remove all of the MW2 content on my system, which didn't work, so we reset my system with it's default settings and that didn't work either. They told me to contact Activision's help desk but they're only open M-F 8-5 PST and i'm working all those hours. Anyone's advise is much appreciated. I'm almost to the point of getting a new slim model.

Hey I just started getting the problem after I got a new router. It's up to date on the Firmware so I have no idea what to do.

Please help me, I am dying to play ACB multiplayer and it's not looking to bright

been getting this error and have tried many different ways trying to get rid of it.

the error seems to be sporadic.  there are days that it will occur multiple times sometimes right after another after 5 minutes of online play.  then there are days that I don't encounter any of this error.

so, my presumption is that it's a PSN server error.  I have friends that are playing the same game as me and does not have this error while there are some friends that does have it.  very sporadic!

SONY PLEASE GET A FIX GOING!!!

How has this error been going on since '07 and Sony has yet to fix this for us?  I just got my PS3 and it started signing me out right off the bat.  Not good when I was wondering if I should get this or an Xbox 360.  My friends on Xbox can play for hours, I keep getting signed out.  I think this has helped me make the decision on if I want a PS3 or Xbox 360.

I have a d-link DIR 615 and i get 8002AD23 error codes every 20 - 30 mins of online play! annoys the **bleep** ouut of me and nothing seems to work!

Hey i have the same proble happened a couple of time over the last 3 years being signed out once or twice in a day and now since about 4 hours ago its just total bu..sh.t I ca. 't stay signed in for more than 4-5 minutes tried every thing and no results.....

I had the same problem. What worked for my where tow things,

First thing, you have to give your PS3 system and Static IP address, from the setting uf network option you pick custom. Then when it ask the DNS addrees and the gateway, you go to a PC which is connect (either wired or wireless) to the network you are trying to join. In that PC you open run and type "cmd", when the command window opens, you type "ipconfig /all". There will appear all the information you nedd whihc is the gateway and the DNS primary address (you can leave the secondary blank).

Then you go to setting up your router, you log in to your router and in the options menu, you select the advance options, and then tto the firewall or DMZ options, then to DMZ option you add the ip address of your PS3.

I have been playing none stop for 4 hours, and it hasn't appear the error once.
