am i the only person having this problem? i constantly get signed out of the psn and its always this one error code 8002ad23.  ive done some searching but this code is not listed on any of the error code lists, its been doin it over a month and i cant stay signed in for more than 3 minutes....note though that internet browser, downloads, and final fantasy XI work great with no disconnections....its only psn doin it and any game that requires psn

also note that my ps3 is nat 2 and in DMZ and ive also done port forwarding....any suggestions or help would be GREATLY appreciated

also im using a belkin wireless N F52D833-4v3 router (wired connection)

and yes its still doing it even after the 2.10 firmware upgrade....upgraded tonight...took exactly 2 minutes for me to  be signed out with error code 8002ad23

I havent been booted yet..but we will see by tomorrow..and i will post about it if i do get booted or not..i really hope this fixes it..im sure its a firmware issue with some people. I know this didnt happen till like 1.92...and our internet obviously works fine so its not that...but yeah..sucks dude

lol i hear you...it seems like sometimes i get booted every 5 minutes...then it will be ok for a while some days..like almost all day..then BAM it laughs in my face lol...sometimes i can go a few days...amazingly..but then it comes screamin back...who knows man..im sure a firmware will fix this in the future..as soon as ingame XMB comes LOL

wow....youve actually got days in?  im dead serious no joke....the longest ive EVER stayed connected was for 2 and a quarter rounds of warhawk....and since final fantasy xi which is an MMORPG runs on the same ps3 with the same router with no problems or disconnections. it HAS to be an issue with the PSN and not any hardware or user error.

I've had this problem too, but after turning off the media servers it's worked fine. I used to be kicked off almost every 10-15 minutes with that same error message, and it lasted me about an hour last night after turning off the media servers (i didn't get kicked off the network, I just turned off my PS3 for the night).

yeah...turnin off media servers was the very first thing i tried....been tryin to figure this out for well over a month and nothin works

disable UPnP on both the PS3 and router.

tried that too...believe me when i say ive tried everything and nothing works...best luck ive had was changing the internal IP address of the router itself. but that only made the tinyiest bit of difference, still didnt stop the disconnections

I'm in the same boat, Phantom.  I've tried all those things listed above, too.  I show a NAT 2 connection.  I also tried taking down the firewall completely and turned that little PS news ticker off as well - just in case.  (I think the constant disconnections are making me a little paranoid)  I'm using a Belkin router, too:  F5D8231-4.  I'm connected wirelessly, and the one thing I haven't tried yet is hard wiring to the modem.  For the sake of the process of ellimination I'll try that tonight, although everything I've read suggests it doesn't matter.
