PS4 Skins

Hey guys. If you don't know about these, you should check em' out. You can get skins for your console, controllers, PS Vita, etc. They protect from scratches and make your stuff look really cool and unique.

Here's a couple.

The PS Vita skins from decalgirl.com come with downloadable backgrounds that blend seamlessly with the skin.

I made a custom-one for order just yesterday. Can't wait for em to come in. Smiley Tongue

The backside:

The ones from www.decalgirl.com (where you can custom-make your skins) are like $30. The controller skins are $10. You can get them cheaper though (like $15 for console and $5 for controllers) at Amazon though.

AAnyone else got console skins? I'll post a picture of my setup when they come in the mail. If you like buying PS4 accessories I'd definitely go after these. Gives your Playstation a sweet custom look and also protects it from scratches and stuff.

The skins look really cool, but couldn't those add to the internal heat? I might look into one of these for my controller.

They don't cause heating problems to my knowledge. I've had one on my PS3 for years. The skins are basically stickers that you carefully place on the a couple different parts of the console. They don't cover any heat vents or anything.

Those are really cool. I might have to invest in one of those.

Some of those skins will leave a sticky mess all over your console if you decide to take it off in the future.

Yeah, the one on my PS3 doesn't seem like it will come off properly. It's stuck on there really good. If you plan on buying one of these then be sure you're happy with it--you'll do better to just leave it on.

The ones from Decalgirl claim to be easily removable. They're more expensive then skins from other places I've seen so perhaps the quality is better in that way. You're probably more likely to have trouble removing a cheaper skin like from Amazon.

Whenever you make a custom one at decalgirl they say you can't use "copyrighted art". >_> I kinda violated that rule since I used anime characters so we'll see if they still make it. lol I'm hoping they ask no questions and just print it out and ship it to me. Everything seems okay right now anyway.
