PS4 Power Button Very Touch Sensitive

8 replies 2313 views Edited Nov 21, 2013

Has anyone noticed that the power button and the eject buttons are very very sensitive?

When I first carefully turned it on/plugged it in yesterday(scared **bleep**less about that Blinking Blue Light thing), I went to press the power button but I had barely touched it and it came to life.

Same with eject button.

It's not a problem really, with the PS3 I did tend to accidentally press the power button at times, just asking to see if anyone has a similar reaction.

I just don't like how you can't see them in the dark, They don't light up.

I mean there's only two buttoms on the system. The only reason your fingers should be there in the first place is if you're inserting/removing a game, moving your console, or powering it on or off. I use voice commands to power off my PS4 anyways.

I have yet to fully play around with it, spent most the day updating games and downloading stuff.

I will definitely be looking into voice commands. Thanks for reminding me about that.

I have shut mine off puting cables in the back and accidentaly hitting the button.

New stuff takes a little time to get used to.

Actually it is sort of a problem with the sensitivity. Just last night my ps4 turned it self on from power off mode, and started ejecting my disc relentlessly. And it would not accept the disc when i tried to insert it again. Im assuming that the over sensitive buttons is part of the problem
