PS4: NO YLOD?

I plan on buying a ps4 at launch (or whenver it is available in stores) and I was wondering, do you think there will be any issues with this system?  I don't want to have it crap out on me 2-3 years down the road.

Mine seems to stay cool and run quietly... And everyone else that has gotten theirs before launch has not had any problems yet... So I'd say ya I think you are safe.

Well, as we have heard from various People, it sounds like the PS4 is more built like a PC Arch Structure now...

If i'm understanding it correctly, & how many PC's have you seen break down within such a Time Frame?

I'm just not sold on the whole Scimatics of the PS4... I just have a gut feeling that we are going to see some issues...

The Hardware is an improvement of the PS3... But the Processing is not as great as the PS3 was... Or at least from what I know of...

My current Computer is being Built based on this same concept, because of the same reason... It's Cheaper to make...

But i'd think more experienced bigger Gamers, would actually be more interested in a much better Processor, no?

What I mean is, an Example...

8GB Ram, 2 Graphix Cards, running bridged at 4K Video... Such, & Such...

All on a low end Processor...

The Question isn't how fast or how good it will look, the question is,

can the Processor handle such Power?

No YLOD? It's possible, I think if we keep it clean, & bug Free, it should have a good Life Span...

@GuRuAsaki2098 Check out my thread above. The processor has been tweaked to be possible to run at 2.75ghz per core MAX... That's not powerful enough for you? It still has 8 cores after all...

We live in an imperfect world, and when you buy any piece of mechanical or electronic equipment, it's prone to failure. And as always like the Weaponers of Q'ward told Sinestro upon taking the Yellow Ring, the greatest flaw is the user.

Everything always needs to be fixed repaired whatever.. Nothing is ever perfect... But they did say they have put on cooling fans into the PS4 so you are safe for now.. Plus at launch if it does break down you can always get a refund or replacement most likely..
