PS4 - Loose Casing?

8 replies 726 views Edited Nov 15, 2013

Hi I noticed when I unboxed my Playstation 4 that the top glossy part is very loose and wiggles somewhat. I would assume this isnt normal. Any one else have this problem?

It might have just came loose.  You can remove it to change the HDD.

That's a sliding cover so you can remove the hard drive. It's supposed to move.

You haven't had any other issues yet right? Mine was the same and I've been nervous since day 1 :smileytongue:

You did go ahead and slide it off and make sure the screw holding the HDD in was there right? If not I'd do so now. Here's a link with instructions if needed. This won't void your warranty.
