PS4 Framerate issues, killzone, contrast

15 replies 741 views Edited Nov 18, 2013

Anyone experienced this? I finished KIllzone on hard the other day and jumped into some multiplayer, from what i got playing multiplayer the fps is generally good and its supposed to stay at 60fps most of the time so im sure it probably went to 50 or what have you at certain points i just didn't bother to notice.

However, on singleplayer there were many instances where i felt it drop into the 20s and coming from being a pc gamer primarily its really annoying and frustrating to not be able to have a fluid experience. Idk if this is hardware or software related, but im guessing the latter, since everything else about the system works fine, and playing resogun is totally smooth.

Also had huge fps dips in contrast. Idk what fps that is locked into i guess 30? but this game was even more noticeably sluggish than killzone which is amazing to me since its not particuarly a pretty game, though its not bad.

Anyone have these similar experiences?

I'm two missions away from ending the story line and never had a problem with ( I'm a PC game so I may not noticed it. The multilayer work fine for me and if it only dropped to 50 I don't think that I will notice it ^^

Same here, Killzone, Need for Speed, BF4, Warframe, Flower, Resogun, Assisns Creed no frame rate drops at all.

Havent had any. If your console is running hot it could be compromising the performance

Okay so at least I'm not alone here, and maybe with killzone im just more sensitive to noticing it, it's not extreme its just when i turn the camera towards a lot of actions sometimes i can see the frame drops but it only lasts a second or two. I'll see how things are when i pick up more games in the next few weeks. Hopefully its not my console/heat, its in a very open space plenty of breathing space, and  havent noticed it being too hot from the back, just warm air
