PS4 Disappointment

5 replies 387 views Edited Dec 26, 2013

I had such high hopes for the PS4. However, it lacks an unacceptable number of features present on the PS3. It cannot play any local files from a USB stick, it cannot access media servers, and it cannot connect using DLNA. These features made the PS3 shine, and the PS4 is sorely lacking when it comes to current media features. All I can hope for is that Sony will update the software in the future to add these features and make the PS4 as good a media center as the PS3 was.

The PS3 didn't have all the features that it currently has at launch.

Sony is looking into adding these features back in the near future. All you can do now is wait.

If any research was done. Sony announced these features would not be part of the system right out of the box. Many topics state though were getting th em added via firmware updates.

It's good to see you have come out of your bomb shelter, this information is well known, but thanks for filling us in.

You're as randomly lethal and entirely confused as you ever were.
