PS3 won't play one game

I have a 120 gb slim PS3 that is about 2 and a half years old. Just two days ago, I finally got my hands on a brand new copy of "Ultimate Ninja Storm 2" I went to install it on my PS3, but when I put it in, the Playstation won't read the disc. Instead, it clicks about four times before it tries to eject the disk (at least that is what it sounds like). I then have to eject the disk manually. After that, my playstation won't read any of my other games (with the same clicking noise) unless I reset it to it's default settings.

Now after I reset it to it's default settings it will read my games just fine until I put it UNS2. Then the cycle repeats itself. But here's the strange thing, if I reset the PS3 to it's default settings and put in UNS2 first, it will read it. But if I shut off my system and come back to play it, it won't read UNS2 anymore, and once again, the cycle repeats.

What is going on and how do I fix this problem? I already lost one PS3 to the yellow light and I don't want to lose another PS3.

Re: PS3 won't play one game

I doubt it's the disc since I bought the game brand new. I also examined the disc and there are no visible damages to it. Also, I did get it to work once, so there is that. I could use any help I can get, this is really bugging me!

The Blu ray lens might be dying. Im not too sure though but it is a possibility.

Re: PS3 won't play one game

If that's the case then Sony better pay for the new one. I take good care of my playstation and hardly use it anymore. If it's breaking, it's their fault for releasing a faulty product on the market.
