PS3 wireless controller problems.

29 replies 5154 views Edited Jul 1, 2009

I have a problem with my PS3.  I can not use my controller wirelessly only when I have it hooked up using the USB cable.  I have tried resetting the controller from the back, I have charged my controller to full battery, I have resetted the ps3 and even reformated it and still no solution.  I can't find anything else to do, and it is annoying me.  My PS3 is up to date with the updates and everything so I doubt it's that.  The only thing that gets it to work wirelessly is cutting the power off from the PS3 for a bit and turning it on with the controller, it will connect to the PS3 but after about 5 minutes it will freeze and the 4 blinking red lights will just blink endlessly without connecting.  I don't know what to do anymore, if someone has a solution please help me out.

Thanks in advance.

try another controller (buy one if you have to, you could always return it)

42" Panasonic Plasma TH-42PZ700U 1080p w/ Yamaha 5.1 720W Surround Sound

Maby something is wrong with your Bluetooth. Try getting something else Bluetooth and syncing it up with your PS3. It could be another controller, remote, headset etc...
