connect how? I mean, for what purpose? To view on display, or to record?
Either way, with any PC, you'd need a video input port or capture card of some sort.
most laptops do not have a video input. it'd be nice, especially with many coming with HDMI ports now, it'd be awesome if the HDMI were input as well as output.

I was wondering, can you connect ps3 and laptop with wifi, and maybe exchange videos to play. And what does "dlna" do?, because i have it on my laptop and i am really curious if it can help!!
You can install a media server on your laptop (or if one is already installed, just set it up). Using the media server on your laptop, you can stream and copy videos to your PS3. That is done over a network, so you can use ethernet or wifi.
What DLNA do you have on your laptop? Is it a specific program?
