I have a Bravia KDL. I've tried hooking up my ps3 to it using componant cables. I can't figure out which input to use, the majorty of them say no signal. I know it's not an issue with my ps3 because I've had it hooked up to other tv's without a single problem. I don't currently have an HDMI cable (the one I had got lost when I moved). The ps3 turns on fine and all that but for some reason I just can't get anything to show up on the tv. How do I fix this?
You can reset the input settings on your PS3. Make sure it's off (in standby) and hold the power button for 5 or 6 seconds, until you hear a second beep. That might do it.
If not, then I'm not sure. I don't see why the TV wouldn't pick up the input. The only other thing I can think of is maybe you just simply have the two red wires mixed up?
Because component is of course Red, Blue, Green, Red, White, with one Red being part of the video and the other part of the audio. Do you perhaps have them switched by accident?
