Re: PS3 is causing my Wireless Router to disconnect everyone, drop connection.

Yes enter ip manualy

Manual Ip settings for me are

IP address 192.168.0.10  This is because my local network is set to 192.168.0 most common and default are 192.168.1 and im telling the ps3 it is .10 on my network

SubNet Mask 255.255.255.0 This will be the same for you.

Default Router 192.168.0.1 again because my network is 192.168.0 This will be whatever your router addy is.

Primary DNS will be the dns servers provided to you by your isp

I do not use dmz or forward any ports.UPnP is enabled. Also my firewall is enabled but thats nothing to do with the connection just letting you know it doesnt have to be disabled either.

Re: PS3 is causing my Wireless Router to disconnect

Set up as per above instructions, and turn off all other computers. See if you are still getting logged-out. DSL connection might be to blame (PPPoE).

Re: PS3 is causing my Wireless Router to disconnect

I am using dsl and was having same problems with PSN logout and kicking all other pc's off. Setting up QoS fixed it for me.

Re: PS3 is causing my Wireless Router to disconnect

actually since i bought a linksys router, even with upnp enable on router and ps3, i have not been logged out.  its just not i can't get a nat2 unless i have dmz enable.    as longs as i have ps3 a static ip and that ip entered into the dmz setting, then everything else will still have closed ports except ps3 right? like my xbox360 and laptop and desktop computer

Yes, DMZ is demilitarized zone, which means, it should just tunnel everything directly to DMZ address without interference.. I am not sure how well that works with DSL providers.
You can still forward ports to other machines like XBOX, Laptop, Etc.

Re: PS3 is causing my Wireless Router to disconnect

I pity the poor dad who bought his kid a PS3 for christmas and knows nothing about networking. Little Johnny says " daaaaad i can't get online to race carrrrrsss.... " only then does dad realize that he needs an associates degree in computer networking to get his kid's game to work. R...O...F...L.
