Hello! I recently bought a HDMI to DVI cable in order to play on my PC's monitor. So, I have a Philips 220WS that I am trying to connect the PS3 to. The screen doesn't have HDCP, and I think that is the problem. Is there ANY way of doing it? And by ANY way I mean any way that's not gonna cost me a lot... (like HDFury or that stuff)
Thanks!

There is a way of removing HDCP from the PS3's signal to play on non-HDCP compliant displays...
This video might be of some use. I know its about using a capture card, but it has valuable info to remove HDCP from the HDMI cable. Unfortunately, it does mean buying more stuff.

Try looking for it at monoprice.com.
They generally have the CHEAPEST prices for most devices.
I bought their HDMI splitter for about $5 or so
I think I found a similar device there for $40... still a bit pricey, but cheaper than the $60 in the link you posted
I buy all of my cables from there. Because its so cheap, I bought an entire spool of CAT6 ethernet cable to wire my whole house.
And when I renovated my home theatre/living room, I used their HDMI cables in 20' lengths. which is FAR LESS than buying "premium" HDMI cables from Monster or some other exotic company.
