PS3 XMB - Group Content

4 replies 4482 views Edited Oct 28, 2012

Request:  Allow for additional sort filters

At this time GROUP CONTENT  only sort by FORMAT TYPE (PS3, PSP, PSV, etc.)

What I'm looking for is additional segregation within each type:

i.e.  PS3

- PS3 Full Game

- PS3 Demo

- PS3 Move

It would also be good the games batched into sub-folders.

-----

A real pain in the **bleep** is I DO NOT want to play a PSMove game and (because it is not clearly identified in the XMB listing)  I start a game and BAM!  calibrate the PSMove.  Noooooooo!

LOL!  When I want to play I PSMove game I will be prepared to do so.

----

Another pain is not being able to sort ALPHABETiCALLY.

Any chance of this being accomplished in the next XMB update?

Oh, same thing goes for VIDEOS.

I downloaded temp vids but the WILL GET mixed in with my permanent vids.

I'm always wary of accidently deleting one of my permanent (owned) vidoes. Need a way to separate such items.

there is a way you can accomplish this... while it is time consuming you can get the games list organized into "albums" by going into each games information page by accessing the menu by pressing the triangle button on every game... in each page there is a spot where you can assign it a album like PS3 full Game..

after you done this for every game press square to cycle the layout type to show albums

This is exactly how I do it. I have folders titled, Arcade, Adventure, Demos, FPS, Puzzle, Racing, etc, etc. It does take a little time if you're doing them all at once. But once it's done, they're sorted exactly how you want them.
