So i recived a ps3 slim 120 it worked for about a week then it stopped i cant turn it on and when i do it starts up shows a yellow light then blinks red. Do i need to purchase a new powersupple becase i turnted thosse 2 nobs inside the system and it still didnt work.

I'm sorry to be the deliverer of bad news but your PS3 just got the YLOD.

From where/whom did you get this PS3? If it was part of SONY or any other company's repair service and this is still under warranty, call them and report this.

I don't think the OP's system is under warranty, especially since he opened it.

There really isn't anything you can do to fix it that will last, I suggest contacting Sony to have it repaired, it will probably cost you $100...
