PS3 Pulse Impulsion headset, speakers and headset at the same time?

2 replies 481 views Edited Dec 26, 2012

Hi folks, I just got a Pulse Impulsion Elite for Christmas. I hooked it up, sounds great, now I'm trying to get the regular speakers working along with the headset. In other words, I don't want the headset to automatically mute the tv speakers as I want the full 7.1 sound while others can hear the game too.

I fidled to no end with the settings and couldn't do this, any ideas?

Thanks!

M

Nothing you can do.

Automatically turns off TV audio.

Headsets are designed so that you can "sound **bleep**" without having to disturb anyone in the house.

The only way for you and your friends listen, is to not use the headset

thanks for the reply, too bad they don't have the option to. Not only would it be good for my use but I'm also thinking of my dad who's hard at hearing and uses a ps3 to play bluray movies. Such a feature would allow him and my mom (who's doesn't have a hearing problem) to watch a movie without putting the sound to loud.
