PS3 Internal Memory Card - NOT SAVING - PLEASE HELP

10 replies 7352 views Edited Sep 15, 2010

I have created 2 internal memory cards and assigned them to slots 1 & 2 (PS2 in slot 1 & PS1 in slot 2) I have downloaded the original Dino Crisis game (wanna go old skool for a change) BUT when I try to save the game during normal gameplay, it tells me that I do not have a memory card in slot 1 or slot 2.

Am I being really stupid here or can I not save a game that I have just paid $6 for? This is driving me crazy - If you know how to help please let me know.

Thanks in Advance

Try putting the PS1 card into Slot 1?

That's strange. I use my 80gb BC feature to play PS1 & PS2 games all the time and of course I'm using the internal memory cards.

The only thing I can think of is maybe there is an issue have both a PS1 & PS2 card assigned at the same time. Try just assigning the PS1 memory card to slot 1 without another card assigned. Also, have you tried creating a new memory card?

Ok you will goto memory card utility. Then click on create a new internal memory card. Then it will say ps2 or ps you want to click ps. Make your own name click ok then assign to slot one by clicking triangle on the one you want to assign. there you go

A very well written post, but the person you replied to only made his/her account to ask the one question back at the end of January and has never posted again. I'm pretty sure he/she will never see the response. Smiley Tongue
