Thanks for that link. I'm in my local Best Buy at least 3 times a month and have never seen one of these. Checked the website and my local store has them in stock. Guess I'll head down there before the Michigan/ND game and check it out.
Even the sticks are placed in the proper location.
They have these in stores also.
That "Shadow 6" controller looks way better than the Rocketfish one. I _hate_ the DualShock design (yes, I'm "one of those", who loves the 360 controller), but I have a strong distaste for "3rd party crap". I'd like to demo one of those Rocketfish ones before buying (they're not cheap), but just from looks alone, the Shadow 6 looks superior.
*EDIT* Looks like the S6 has convex analog nubs... bleh... that's no good for some of us (not sure what those of you who like convex nubs thumbs look like...). It's kind of hard to tell from the pictures, but the Rocketfish controller has concave analog nubs.
Just buy xbox sticks on ebay and put them in the DS3
Listen to this guy. ps3 and 360 sticks fit perfectly swapping either way. don't buy that covering crap. swap them out with something real, reliable and time tested. like gold.... I mean another actual analog stick.
see how Ben Heck made this controller http://benheck.com/04-14-2007/ps360-controller and you will see that this is true. don't worry thinking you'll break it and say you haven't taken stuff apart before. Any normal person has done this in their childhood. If you want crap, buy the coverings. If you want some official good stuff, gut an old broken 360 controller.
hey guys.. i've done this mod there's 2 downsides...you have to either.. A) - Sand down the little pegs of the thumbsticks down by a few milimeters, OR B) Drill into the thumbsticks so they slide down further on the post... i bought thumbsticks for a 360 controller on ebay only a few quid they look stunning in the controller but for the work you have to do, i wouldnt recommend it,
