Why has there been no mention of PS2 classics for the Vita? We all know that it's capable considering it has Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 so whats the hold up?

ces is happening now. i hope its announced because you can manipulate the vita screen to custom fit.. HD tv's have this once inch black bars on the side for many ps2 games. bugs me.

MGS 2 & 3 are HD remakes not direct PS2 ports, but I agree the Vita should be more than capable in running PS2 classics...

Most forget that they had a few ps2 games on psp. Now a couple playable on vita. Two games of Prince of Persia and a Tomb Raider. I think there are a few more on psp. I think. They play good on psp and even better on vita. So they have all ready showed it can be done.

There are quite a few examples where PS2 games were made into Vita versions, and vice versa. However these are different versions. What we are looking for is (like PSone classics and PSP games) to be able to download and run PS2 classics on a Vita...
