LOL.
Kind of how I feel but I have my reasons and trust me I owned them all and I gave them a good shot also, just weren't for me. By the time the 3DS XL came around I gave up on Nintendo, again for my own reasons without trying to start some war..
I enjoy their games, it's their hardware that really get's to me and it has nothing to do with graphics either, just the lack of functionality and just lack of features their products should have by now..
I just thought it was funny the Soul to Satan part, kind of how I felt when I got to the 5th version of the DS. My own stupiditly I know, I shouldn't have made it that far..

AC3: Liberation is buggy as hell, and seems like a dumbed down version of a console AC game. I'm a bit disappointed, personally.
That it is, but I blame the company behind it for things like that; the PC version is no different either, mind you, they are releasing a patch next week that is like two pages worth of fixes. AC3: Liberation is quite the feat on the PSV. That said, I agree completely with you, people looking down on Nintendo for the outdated hardware are borderline fanboys, the 3DS has a very solid library as of right now (though, to be fair, most of said library still has to make it outside of Japan)~.
The PSV on the other hand, is barely beginning (a late beginning at that since it's almost a year old). Both systems are good, and ironically, despite the fact people label the 3DS as a kiddy option, Monster Hunter 3 (and no doubt MH4) is the most hardcore option when it comes to Monster Hunting titles. After playing RO for a day straight, I realized just how dumbed down everything is. Not that I'm dissing RO, I think it's a very fun game. But hardcore is something like MH where you have to be mindful of every minute detail before heading out~.
All in all, when it comes to handhelds, people should stop wearing companies' t-shirts and just go with the platform that has the most games you want to play. Neither Sony or Nintendo are doing this for people, so no need to be so loyal, if not fanatical, about them~.

Comparing the VITA with the PS3 is retarded.
The same thing that happened to the PSP is now happening to the VITA.
The PS4 will soon release, and when happen gamer will see the VITA for what it truthfully is. it just a matter of time. Believe me.....
So ahead go ahead and buy yourself a 3DS. You'll be sorry in the end.

Well, not soon enough to make a difference for the Vita.

The 3DS in this moment is really good it has a solid libray not to mention that alot of the ports that the psv has come from the 3ds, the psp was good since the start and even better when it was hacked, that boost the psp system sales in almost 100%.
Sony blame the piracy for the support of the system, but the true is that the DS and the 3DS are easier to hack that any psp, and nintendo is still going strong. Nintendo know how to manage the company while sony keep dropping the ball.
Im sorry but saying that u have to wait for the ps4 to the psvita succeed is pure bs, the console market is more competitive every year and by the time that the PS4 arrive, the steam box (valve) is probably going to arrive too, so thats more competition.
In the meanwhile the psvita schedule for next year is very weak . pretty much another "launch year", 2 or 3 good titles then a 6 /7 months empty gap.

I had a 3DS before grabbing my Vita. IT was a good stopgate system while I waited for the Vita to come out. Couple great titles but once I got my Vita and Vita games, my 3DS collected as much dust as my wii. I eventually sold it to buy more Vita games, just didn't think the 3DS was for me. Not saying the system was bad or anything, I liked the 3D feature especially, but just felt they weren't providing me games I would like (I'm almost 30, my tastes kinda hit a comfortable T and M games, E very rarely).
Funny how some of these people in this thread and forum are dooming the handheld on it's first year and "limited library " (I don't think so but whatever, my opinion is kinda doesn't really matter as I game much differently than others). A bit of deja vu is the reason why I say this... people were dooming the PS3 on it's first year and limited library at first, some even jumping ship real early just like the Vita. Unsurprisingly we all know how that turned out, the PS3 is a massive success! The original high price dropped, the game library is huge, and millions of consoles were sold. A true cinderalla story despite all the naysayers - their the minority whose patience and positive attitudes are very limited resulting in their loss.
Same goes for the Vita, all the naysayers can say whatever they like, put down the Vita, call it names, whatever. I frankly have no clue why these type of people still own the Vita if they hate it so much or have little patience in it. They should just do like some of the disatisfied early PS3 adopters did, just sell it and grab the other item (in this case the 3DS). You obviously had higher expectations than the rest of us and feel you deserve nothing but the best despite no device being perfect right out the gate. Just don't be surprised with the outcome later when the Vita starts taking off with loads of games and features (due to firmware upgrades), you made the decision to move on on you own.
Some of us are happy with our Vita's, it provides enough content to keep us happy, graphics are great on a number of games (especially the recent ones that came out), the community is growing little by little, and the new firmware that will come out soon along with PS+ all show signs that things keep getting better and will get better with the Vita (more games keep coming out too and soon). Just like the PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP - the PSVITA won't deviate from the forumla of producing a fun experience and loads of great games to those who stick with the device.
[Naysayers during the PS3 1st year era, "PS3 has no games!" , "PS3 will never catch up to the Xbox!", "PS3 is gonna fail big time!", "Sony will be out of the game businness by the second year of the PS3!", "The PS3 will be Sony's end in the gaming side of things!" Well, guess they ate crowpie as Sony proved them wrong despite a rough start. I'm sure Sony is going to do the same thing with the Vita and I'm not worried one bit...

@Da1writer
Im sorry in what world the ps3 is a massive succeSs? The ps2 was a massive economic success, the ps3 was not profitable until 1 year ago, sony was in first position in the console market between ps 1 and ps 2 now is the worst of the 3 nintendo, microsoft sony.
As developer is in 9 or the 10 position in forbes or any economic magazine last year. In other part i never said that the psv is awful or doom, but its far from the N1 position.
Srry for any mistake i hate this mobile version.

Gaikai will change how people view Sony period. That is what I am waiting for, playing PS3 and PS4 games via stream on the Vita or hell playing them on PC, your phone and tablet.
Sony's Gaikai is just going to be radical. Not enough think about what it is capable of doing, which is a lot.
