Apparently PS+ is going to get a big marketing push in the months ahead, so hopefully that will mean a program we can all be satisfied with. As it stands now, it looks like Sony is doing a good job as it is...

I really wonder about the article-- has any1 else reported on any of this? -- while the numbers sound right-- Sony has never been 1 to disclose figures

I found out about this article from another source. I don't remember where, but I frequent IGN, Joystiq, Polygon, Kotaku, and Gamespot for info. I'm sure with satisfaction rates this high, Sony is very willing to brag about it...

I think the first thing they are going to do is to make sure every new PS3 sold, and major 1st party releases, Sony will give out 1 month free trials of PS+ for more people to try out for themselves...

That would be a great idea. I first subscribed to PlayStation Plus when they gave out the free 30 days after the extended PSN outage around June last year. Before that, I'd barely heard of PS+, and never had any interest in finding out what it really was, but after the trial I was impressed enough to have kept a consistent subscription since.
