PS+ and downloaded games question

2 replies 48 views Edited Jun 19, 2013

Hi everyone,

I figured I ask this just to make sure.  So I have PS+ now and downloaded games from the instant collection.  I've run out of room on my hard drive so I have to free up space.  For example, I downloaded XCOM b/c it was free for ps+ members.  If i delete that game data (not the save game data) now and in 6 months want to download it again when it's not free, will i still be able to do so without paying?  This leads into my second question.

I know I will be travelling for 4+ months and will be letting my PS+ expire.  When I return and become a member again, will I be able to download XCOM again without charge?

An answer to this scenario is much appreciated.

Thanks

Yes. Anything in your download list will still be there for free.

And you have a 6 month grace period after your PS+ expires.

So as long as you re-sub before 6 months pass, you can redownload.
