Are you near any wifi access points that are in the Skyhook Wireless database? If not you may not be able find your location. If you have your own access point go to their website and add your location.

I am definitely included in the Skyhook Wireless coverage area. And as far as I know, it could take weeks for a wireless access point to register on Skyhook. Has this actually been confirmed to work? I e-mailed Sony about the issue, but haven't heard back yet. I know a few people with the same issue, so that is at least mildly comforting.

Could it be related to NAT type? My router refuses to allow anything but NAT 3 for unknown reasons.

Well thats a first.

No clue as to why that would be happening, unless you didnt have the latest FW update (1.6.1) or you are not connected to WiFi/3G

Yes it will.

Thats why you need to back them up on your PC/PS3 system, then just transfer them back when you're finished. Yeah, it would be a long process, but a few users said doing a factory restore fixed Near for them.

Near isnt that great anyway, you can revieve some minor gifts and rate games, woo hoo? Lol
